Call for submissions

Veszprém and the Bakony-Balaton region holds the 2023 European Capital of Culture title (VEB2023 ECoC). To mark the occasion, we are planning a truly special private history exhibition. The exhibition will explore the history of Lake Balaton summers. Memories and experiences will be collected and presented to the public through various installations and exhibitions on piers and at railway stations along the shores of Lake Balaton.

Did you have a good time at Lake Balaton? Do you have fond memories of your time here? There is a nice, funny, or sometimes sad story behind every photo. Send us photos and videos of your holidays at Lake Balaton from your family collections. Please also share with us the circumstances under which the picture was taken, and we will present it on the website or as part of one of the on-site exhibitions.
